How do I setup Triple Rates on my 12Z?
To set up dual rates, go to AFR (D/R) screen and scroll to the second page. Select the control surface you want to set up, select if you want the rates to be assigned to all conditions (Group) on just this one condition (SNGL). Toggle to the left at the AFR icon and change it to D/R. Select D/R 1 and activate it. Toggle over to the Function name and select the control surface you want and then which switch you wish to have it operate. After you select the switch, select its On position (say the bottom position). Now move the switch to the D/R 1 position and go to the main AFR (D/R) screen. Set Rate A and Rate B to the amount of D/R you wish for that function.
Then go back to the "D/R" button. Select D/R 2 and activate it and simply set this third rate the same as you did above.
Now you have your AFR's position as full throw, bottom is low throw or dual rates on that control surface.
By following this for your other surfaces, Ailerons, Elevators and Rudder, you can have triple rates all on one Condition.
