Radio System FAQ

How do I set up 4 aileron servos on a biplane?

Flaperons on 1 and 6 gives you a right and left aileron servo on the first wing.

channel 1 = right aileron
channel 6 = left aileron
channel 7 = right upper
channel 8 = left upper

Flaperons makes channels 1 and 6 work as ailerons (and also as flaps).

Now, we want channel 7 to work just like channel 1 so we mix channel 1 (aileron) to channel7 (aux1), 100%, with trim ON so that the aileron trim adjusts both servos.

We want channel 8 to work just like channel 6, so we mix channel 1 (aileron) to channel 8 (aux2), 100%, with trim ON so the aileron trim still adjusts both servos.

Lastly, we don't want channels 7 or 8 to be moved accidentally, so go to Auxiliary channel screen (9C) or FUNC screen (9Z), and set channels 7 and 8 (aux1 and aux2) controls to NULL.
