Can I cycle my battery in my 6EXA through the charge jack, or is it "diode protected" as other Futaba radios are?
The 6EXA like all other Futaba systems, is also diode protected, so you will not be able to cycle it through the charge jack.
You can easily remove the transmitter battery, and cycle it outside of the transmitter, or you can have the "Polyswitch" put into the radio. Send your radio into our Service Center to have this installed. This can be done on any radio other than the 9Z series, or the 9C (which already has this installed).
