Radio System FAQ

I am trying to set up a flap-to-elevator mix. Can you please help?

Absolutely! We are going to do a programmable mix from flap to elevator, set the % for each side of the flap dial, and assign a switch to turn this mix on and off.

  1. Open the advanced menu (bottom left and center)
  2. Arrow up to PMIX1 (or the first mix you aren't using)
  3. Press the + key so instead of INH blinking ON blinks
  4. Arrow over (top center)
  5. Press + 5 times if in PMX 1 (or the # needed tomake FLP blink)
  6. Arrow over
  7. Press + until ELE blinks
  8. Arrow over
  9. Now 0% 0% is showing with one of them blinking
  10. Turn your flap knob all the way counter clockwise. The left 0 should be blinking. Adjust this # to the amount of flap to elevator mix you want when the flap knob is turned to that side.
  11. Turn the knob all the way clockwise so the right 0 is blinking. Adjust this # like the first.
  12. Arrow over
  13. Leave link OFF unless you are using twin elevator servos, in which case turn link on
  14. Arrow over
  15. Leave offset at 0
  16. Arrow over
  17. If you want this mix to only operate on a switch, decide which switch and in which position. For example I am picking swich C down. If you do not want to be able to turn the mix off, set the switch position to NULL. Then the mix is always on. EXAMPLE:
  18. Press+ key until SW C blinks
  19. Arrow over
  20. Press + key until DWN blinks

Notice how now when you move that switch this mix turns on and off.
