Can I fine tune my governor settings in flight? That is to say, adjust from say 1500 to 1525?
Yes, as long as you have a free channel which is assigned to the dial you're going to use, and that you're willing to give up hovering throttle or hovering pitch to put it on. You would do a mix from the unused channel (ex: 6) to the gyro gain channel, 7, +10%. This is one situation where the newer, more powerful, more flexible 9C has an advantage over the 8U.
