Find The Perfect Radio:

Radio System FAQ

What does V1 or V2 mean on my 8U display when I have a CAMPac in place?

V1 means the data on the CAMPac is stored in the format of the older 8U radios. V2 means it is stored in the format of the 8U Super.

Data stored as V1 can be transferred into an 8U super without losing the usability of the data by following these instructions:

http://www.futabarc.com/faq/faq-8u-q88.html

Data stored in an 8U super (V2 data) CANNOT be converted back to work in an 8U non-super.
