Radio System FAQ

How do I keep from overdriving my throttle servo when using an elevator-to-throttle or aileron-to-throttle mix?

The easiest approach is to run a governor instead of the mixes you describe. However, if you chose not to run a governor, then you can:

  1. Unplug your throttle servo horn
  2. Push the ATV of the Throttle up to the max value (+140)
  3. Push the subtrim of the ATV at the limit (opening the carb, sign depending on your helicopter/engine combo)
  4. Replace the servo horn using the full throttle position as reference (the center position has been shifted !)
  5. Modify your low ATV to match the carb travel (closed position)

Now you can activate 2 PMIX (one for ELEV->THRO and one for AILE->THRO) without binding anything.
