Radio System FAQ
I am using the 7- or 8-servo aerobat FAQ for my 9C and assigning channel 7 to Idle control on the VR-A, how can I set up for Throttle Kill and Idle Down for both engines on the same switch?
You will need to do the following mixes to achieve this:
- Activate your first Pmix, making the Master as Throttle and the Slave Aux 1. You will need to have Link On, and Trim Off. Set this to switch G, with the position as Up. The Rate will be set to whatever you want on your throw and the Offset is left at 50%.
- This mix will be activated and set with Master as Offset and the Salve as Aux 1. Link will need to be On, and Trim Off. Set this to switch G also, with the position as Down. The rate will be set again to whatever you want on your throw to be.
- Next go to the basic menu and into throttle cut. Turn this mix on, rate should be set to 20% (can be adjusted later) and the switch should be G with the Down position.
- Go to the Aux-Channel and set channel 7 to VR-A (you may want to change channel 6 to something else).
- Press end once and check your control surfaces. You may need to reverse some or change your rate values.
