Absolutely! First, lets do the FMC functions, then we'll work with the throttle cut function to get what you need.
| Model # = #10 (has preset curve) | FMC servo = ch 8 | Throttle = ch 8 |
| Activate fuel mixture. | From Model Menu select FMC and activate. | P D F F N R |
| Set up fuel mixture. | From Condition Menu select FMC. | O D L |
| Option: change to UNMIXED. This will cause the mixture servo to move based on throttle stick position regardless of curves, mixes, etc. | A G (not needed in this example) |
| Adjust curve as needed. | R to change point. B then E-M to set point. |
| Option: Go to Rate setting and adjust amount of effect the channel 8 control (right slider default) has over the mixture at high speed (51-100%) or low speed (0-49%). | O C. 51%+ means channel 8 control affects the mixture above 1/2 throttle. The farther from 50% the larger the effect. Set to 100% for now for maximum adjustability. |
| Option: adjust acceleration and deceleration settings (higher settings means mixture overcompensation is more pronounced. 0 = no acceleration/deceleration. | Q (F-M) Ex: 0%. P (F-M) Ex: 0%. |
| Close. | N R |
| Change where channel 8 is controlled to left slider. | Open FUNC in Model menu and change Ch 8 assignment. Close. | P B K O L P E N R |
| Set up throttle cut function. | Open CUT in Model menu and activate. | P C F A F |
| Set throttle % to -100 to move throttle as far as possible TOWARD 1/2 stick (opposite of normal throttle cut setup per customer's request.) | C E M |
| Set mixture rate to +100% to move mixture as far open as possible (to dump pressure per customer's request.) | D M |
| Assign to momentary on switch. (ex: F) Close. | F P N N R |
| Throttle movement is still not enough to burn off left over fuel quickly. |
| Use a pmix to offset throttle closer to half stick. | From condition menu open PMIX. | O B I |
| Select Mix 1 and make it active. | F A F |
| Make it an offset mix. | D F |
| Set slave channel as throttle. | C G |
| Assign to cut switch F. | P F P N |
| Set desired amount of travel. (Test and adjust travel as needed.) | O E M |
| Close. | N N N R |
